Please be aware that when changing the Serial Cache Size as mentioned in Knowledge base


How to configure Simplify 3D for better connection to the PC

You also need to disable the auto updating of the profile's attached firmware settings by unchecking the update firmware configuration box in the G-Code tab.

Otherwise the settings will default back to original!

Dear Wcubitt ,


That is correct, however with the new software update ( the 1.4.5 version ) and the new firmware ( the 2.3 version) you no longer have to increase the serial cache size in Simplify 3D for a stable connection .

2. Flash new firmware on the CreatrHS


3. Set extruder offset for your CreatrHS (M50)
